Shoulder Injury possibly?

I had a boxing fight yesterday for 2 rounds of 2 minutes. (I won btw).

Anyhow I woke up this morning and my right shoulder was sore. Its fine when I'm not using it but when I lift my arm up (like horizontally) it hurts on the side of the shoulder. And it hurts a little less when I lift my arm all the way up. Whats odd is my shoulder pops if I lift it fast horizontally and it somewhat extends to the upper triceps.

Today is Chest/Triceps for me but idk if my right shoudler could handle it. What could be the issue?

edit: Well I worked out anyhow; I think it is the Rotator Cuff after doing further research. I don't think it's torn otherwise it would be worse. I'm just gonna heat it every night and take some Ibeproufen everynow and then. If the problem persists after 2-3 weeks I'll go see a doctor.

could be impingement, could be RC or bursitis.
You might want to check and see if u shouldn't be icing it, not heating.

Umm..

Well there is less pain and I really don't notice it until I start using my shoulder. Today is back/biceps day so I should be alright.

I have been heating it so it seems to be getting less and less- Might be Inflammation I think but idk- I'll just have to wait a few more days.

you didn't notice anything while you were fighting? I guess you're just gonna have to wing it. If it doesn't go away, though, go see a doc! Pain when lifting the arm does sound like an impingement. I don't know why it would pop when lifting it up fast, though.. maybe one of the RC muscles are injured making it unable to properly stabilize the joint when you move it.

My shoulder feels 100% perfect today. Lucky me I guess? That had me a bit scared for a while because I had a friend who had a rotator cuff tear and it took him forever to get fully healed.
