Hello, I've been exercising for about 3 months but I have some quesitons.
First, stats:
Male
17 years old
5'8''
140lbs
I am trying to lose around 15 lbs, but also I am weight lifting to build some muscle.
I dont really have a diet, but throghout a day, I eat proteins, carbs, fruits and veggies, and drink plenty of water. I avoid junk food and sodas and whatever seems like it has a lot of fat and sugar.
I have a bit of a tummy, which I am trying to lose first. But one day I asked myself if doing aerobic exercise(for me it's mainly jogging) and weight lifting will help me lose my tummy faster, or if I should put off weight lifting and try to lose weight first, then after I reach my goal, to start weight lifting. The main muscle groups that I am concentrated on are biceps, triceps, chest, and abs. I have a weekly workout and give 48 hours rest for each muscle group.
So my question is, should I put off weight lifting and concentrate on losing my tummy first? Would that be faster for me to achieve my goal of losing 15 pounds?
