should i quit smoking

quit now, but prepare yourself. it takes about 7-10 days of pure hellish cravings (mine just disappeared now on day 7). Its hard, but its do-able. Once you get over the 7-10 day hump of craving in general you are sweet. and it REALLY makes a huge difference to exercise and feeling better!

Even if you gain, its easy enough to loose. you only crave for like a week

Not everyone gets cravings. I didn't and I know others who didn't.

It all comes down to self control. Depends how much you have.

Be strong. You can quit........you just have to stick with the plan :)

if you are addicted to nicotine, then you will get cravings. The cravings are for nicotine, however often misinterpreted for eating/munchies etc. In general for me i just felt 'cravy' for anything bad :)

I had patches for the first 3 days , that got me used to an even amount of nicotine rather than a burst ( still craved during that time, but only in bursts and not as bad as it would have been), then went cold a week ago today.

This will be the second time i quit whilst loosing weight (i keep taking it up over xmas lol).

ill second that, friend of mine is 45, and has loooked 60 sinceshe was about 30 :O
Shes the one who inspired me to quit, she cant even walk up stairs without just about having a heart attack :(

Yes, of course you should stop smoking. Even if you weren't looking to lose weight you should quit regardless.

Sure it might be a hard habit to beat - Put this in your head. Quit smoking and focus on working out/exercising/meth addiction (j/k) whatever it is you do to lose weight. When you want to smoke one, think about losing weight and go to the gym instead. It's all in your head.
