Hi all,
How are you doing? I signed up for this forum today after checking out some tips on weight loss.
Anyway, I am a 24 year old woman in NY. I am 5'3" and weigh a 120 pounds. I am a vegetarian and I have a naturally thin body shape and so I have hardly exercised all these years. But off late I have started to get a noticeable tummy paunch and my upper arms have become flabby. So I have started exercising.
I have been exercising at home for the past one week. I start with a 20 minute jogging around the block and then back home, I do ab crunches, dumbbell exercises, sit ups and push ups (20 of each). The routine at home lasts another 10-15 minutes.
I noticed that the first 3 days, my entire body was feeling really sore but from the 4rd day, I was fine and I didn't even sweat that much. I have read that you need to work out a sweat to see any results. Now my question is, will these at-home exercises help me tone my body or do I have to sign up for gym?
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
