Should I bother cutting?

I'm 5'6 150 lbs and I'm pretty lean. Ive been working out since Jan 2005 and I went from 120 to 150 since then. I've always done just about the same rep range, 1 warm up set of 12, then 10,8,6 to try to bulk.

So I was just wondering if it's worth it to try a cutting phase of say doing lighter weight, 15 rep sets and eating less.

Can you guys give me any advice off of this info or would a picture help?

btw im not really trying to lose weight because I really have no fat to lose, but I could lose some fat off of my lower abs. I can see my top 4 abs but my bottom two are covered by a little fat.

Thanks.

People cut mostly for cosmetic reasons. Having a "cut" body is appealing to everyone. You won't get stronger by cutting, you'll just look more fit with less body fat.

It's all up to you. If you like bulking and want to get a bit bigger, then by all means bulk. But if you want to go to the beach, and pick up girls, then by all means cut.

agree with nobody, though its not all black and white. i bulk, im still fairly lean, and i pick up girls :p
hell, that statement just made my life seem so good :p
anyways, if you bulk clean you wont get that much fat, but it depends on your body type, im natrually lean, so i dont gain that much weight when i bulk, but what i do gain is mostly muscle.

at 150 lbs I doubt you really need to cut yet... Depending on your goals though, you could pick to cut, or still bulk.

If you have a big goal, like 170-200 pounds, than I wouldn't bulk until you're closer to that goal.

All I'm trying to do actually is to lose body fat around my stomach so I will be able to see my abs easy. Like I said I can see my top 4 but I have that little bit of fat covering my bottom two...the kind of fat that almost everyone has, that little bit at the bottom. So if I want to target that area should I just continue to bulk and do cardio after my workouts (30-45 min run)?
