hey all! thanks for reading my greetings. I have been attempting to lose weight for awhile now but have never tried 100 percent. well now i am, and we'll see if i can actually do it if i try really hard. hopefully this forum delivers to me the motivation i desperately need :). anyways, have a good day.

i also have a question. i plan on losing weight by running for a bit each day, no weight training really. do you think this is a good idea? or just a good way to ruin my knees? i really enjoy running and i know it's the only thing i might keep up. here's to a step in the right direction!!!!

Why not do both? the more the merrier!
When running, invest in good shoes, and run on grass or similarly soft surface to minimize the damage to your knees :)

I found i got bored of whatever i was doing so i changed, this worked well for me :D

what wishes said ^ oh and also, watch your posture when running, don't wanna get shin splints.
 
I think you should look into some resistance training...whether it be small dumbells in your home, or going to a gym.

Due to the fact that muscle is a far more active tissue than fat...gaining muscle helps the entire process of losing weight.

Do you have more details for us? It would be easier to suggest what is better for you with more information :)
