Seeking some advice

Hello Everyone!
I am new here!

I am having trouble losing weight. I was wondering if anyone can help me out?

Just a few facts about me:
- I have put on 8 kg in the last year quiet gradually
- I weigh 58 kg, I want to get to 52 by the end of June.
- I do at least 30 min of cardio 3-4 times a week with strength training classes once a week
- I eat has healthy as possible but recently downloaded my fitness pal and realised how many carbs I actually eat in day, usually its 200g and Ive realised that a big NO NO.
- I am 22 years old and my height is 159 cm.
- Majority of my fat is accumalated around my belly and hips, and I have huge flabby arms.

SO. despite all the exercising I have not managed to drop a single kilo in the last few weeks. Only recently I discovered I need to reduce my carb intake and so for the last two weeks I have been really trying to follow a 1200 calorie diet with exercise 3-4 times a week aiming to burn 500 calories each workout.

Am I doing anything wrong?
Why can't I lose any kg?
What happens if I maintain a 1200 calorie diet with carb intake of 50-90 grams per day and continue my exercise regimen and still not lose any weight? Is there such thing?

I am very stressed about this and any form of advice would be much appreciated

Hey hun,

You sound a bit like me at the moment. I've just started with juice plus and it's actually been really amazing with my body. Might not be for you but i'm starting to keep a diary if you want to see how it works for me :) just another option. I'm not an expert just a mummy who has finally found the right thing ^_^

I hardly exercise but i am on my feet constantly with my 18 month old and i kept putting on the weight instead of losing it which didn't make sense to me haha. But i'm getting a lot more energy now and it seems to have boosted my metabolism which is awesome. Maybe worth a try? Hope you find what you need.

Hi!
The scale isn't always a good gauge to see that you're making progress! Keep in mind that 5 lbs of fat is the same size as about 3 grapefruits, and 5 lbs of muscle is about the size of 3 small oranges! I would incorporate strength training into your routine to help build muscle. You'll find as the weeks go by, you will start to lose inches (the scale may even go up a pound or two, as your muscles retain water when healing) but eventually you will start dropping weight as well as inches! Good luck :)
