School starts tomorrow! I'm so out of shape.

I'll be in 12th grade. This is my last year in high school, and I want it to be a good one. In 9th grade, I was around 245 lbs. At the beginning of 11th grade, I was around 198 lbs, and I actually felt really great. Now, I'm about 220 lbs! I started eating in the pizza line at school my second semester and stopped exercising.

Starting BMI = 43.30
BMI at 198 lbs = 35.00
Current BMI = 38.80
Goal BMI = 24.70
(I'll have to be 140 lbs to reach my goal BMI)

My BMR is 1,828.20 Calories.

I plan to: eat a bowl of cereal or a pop tart for breakfast, a granola bar as a snack, a salad or sub sandwich for lunch, possibly a snack after school, and then a smaller portion than I usually eat of whatever my family makes for dinner.

I'll try to eat only when my stomach is growling and I can feel that I am genuinely hungry.
I plan to drink water or brush my teeth when I get the urge to eat but know that I shouldn't.

Here's my exercise plan?

In the morning, after I wake up:
Jump rope 50 times, do 25 jumping jacks, do 20 crunches, do 20 girly push-ups (on my knees), jump rope 50 times, do 25 jumping jacks, lift my little 5 lb weights above my head, out in front of me, out to the side of me, and do curls (all 3 times, 10-20 reps each). Take a shower and get ready for school.

In the afternoon, after I get home from school:
Jog upstairs and downstairs until I can't anymore.

On the days that I have absolutely nothing to do and am not overly sore or tired, I will:
Do 20 minutes of intervals of light jogging / more intense jogging / sprinting, around my living room or around my downstairs or in place.

On my off days / as extra, I can:
walk two laps around my neighborhood, then then walk to the park and shoot some hoops, or try "burning 350 - 500 calories" on Work-Out Mode on DDR. (I'm not sure how accurate it is.) And / or attempt footbagging.

I'm trying to cut out soda from my diet entirely.
And I need to stop taking in so many sweets.
My parents generally buy a lot of fast food, but I suppose that if I eat about half of what I normally eat and / or remove bread, don't use condiments, etc. I'll be better off.

I'm also considering biking, but I look ridiculous in a helmet, and I know that my parents will be furious if I don't wear one and they see me riding without one.

If you're looking for a good place to run stairs try your high school football stadium. My son ran cross country in high school and they ran the stairs in the football stadium for conditioning. Lots of stairs in a small area.

Also, be sure not to over exert yourself. Ease into the workout.

Let me know if you have questions.

I don't think that I have time or means to do this.

Okay, so I think that I will have to revise my former schedule.

I think that I will focus on mainly arm and ab exercises one day (lifting my 5 lb weights and doing crunches), more vigorously than I had intended.

For now:
Perhaps 8 to 15 reps, 5 or 6 times.
And 100 crunches, in sets of 20.

Then, the next day, I can jog / jog faster / sprint for 20 minutes, play DDR, walk around my subdivision, or attempt to footbag, do the stair thing or the jump rope thing or the jumping jacks thing, or go to the park and shoot some hoops and swing on the swings - or any combination of these.

I think that I need to change up what I do from day to day, so that I won't get more and give up, and that I can't do weights / abs AND aerobic exercise every day, I'll be too sore and will give up. I've noticed that since yesterday, I'm sore in my arms already, and I didn't even lift weights this morning. I noticed that the last time I jogged for twenty minutes, I was sore in my calves. I think I need to allow myself time to heal, and by switching it up every other day, I can do that while still continuing to exercise.

How does this sound?
