Ok so its getting closer & closer to September 27th & I last weighed in at 291 August 27th. I'm doing once a month for those of you who do not know me. I'm getting big time anxiety of weighing in at all... Im scared that the number will be like 1-2lbs since I weighed in even tho I am walking an hour a day on the treadmill on 3.2 which is about 3-3.5 miles when im done, I also do sprints for 30 seconds-1 minute on speeds from 5-10mph. I feel better myself which should be good enough but I want to badly for that darn number to be alot lower then last time. Im scared of seeing a 4lb weight loss for the month and then that making me not care and re-lapse back to my old ways. I went from eating about 3000-4000 calories last month to eating spinach on a sandwich when I have one, light mayo, no salt (I cut the salt cold turkey 6 months ago), no pizza and if I do its 1 or 2 slices, not a whole pizza like I used to eat. I also started juicing... my calories are between 1200-1800 now. Im male, 27 years old. Just needed to vent...lol! Have a good week everyone!!

I get that pre weigh in anxiety as well. It is especially true when I have not being doing well on my diet. But, sometimes it comes as a relief to know I've lost some, or at least didn't gain any back.

It sounds like with how much work you are doing the scale should be encouraging. But, if it turns out to be not as good as you expected don't beat yourself up about it. The best way to think that its a long term lifestyle change and gradual weight loss is best. Also, don't just base your progress on the number on the scale. Think about how you feel and how your clothes feel. Going down a pant size or two is a much better indicator than the number on the scale.

Arrgghhh.... 11 days. Shouldn't I be excited...?? I'm not. I started weight training today... only doing 3-4 different excercises in sets of 10-15 - 3x. That should be ok to keep my muscle right?:hurray:
