scard need help

ok here's my problem. Some guy i know never really got along want's to fight with me and he's much bigger so want should i do to get strong enough to beat like should i lift again and how should i eat.

thanks for any reply and i understand if there is none thanks again. :(

Well it depends on when the fight is going to take place. If it is in the next few days then I dont think that its gonna make any difference what you do now. If I was in your place, I would do lots of pushups and pullups and hit the punching bag alot. But that's just me.

yea go for the punching bag, make sure you kick him in the jewels when the fight starts, then start beating on him. Or you can solve this in a civil manner.

thanks guy. well the fight is on sunday so i think i have some time to fit in one workout and it's me and my friend that has to fight this fag so where gonna workout toghter to try and beat this guy. and i'm not gonna hit him in the nads cause what goes around comes around and that would make me cry like a girl.

2 against 1 ? I hope he has martial arts training and beats the snot out of both of you.

oh and if he does have martial arts training and you don't, don't fight, fighting would just be plain stupid

You should throw some sand in his eyes....jk There's not much you're gonna do between now and this fight to improve your fighting condition. It's not simply the stronger fighter that wins the fight. Anyway--good luck.

This is why I don't miss middle or high school.

Lead with the left (assuming you are right handed) and follow with a quick right forearm (throw you elbow as well) to the side of the face.

WOW.. the two of you should be able to overwhelm him. Just don't try to fight like they do in the movies...You know, when the good guy is in the middle of 30 bad guys and they all take turns 1-on-1 with him knowing they'll lose. haha

Attack one from the front and one from the back...he will fall.

This is a first lol When he approachs you do a side kick to his knee if its locked you will have him crippled. Bruce Lee's first offensive defense so to speak lol

punch him in the throat then when he bends over kick him in the forhead as hard as you can then.

Oh sure, let's crush the guys trachea. I mean if he's dead, you'll never have to worry about him again.

Here's a tip for you-when/if the guy hits the ground, leave him alone or you'll be facing jail time. Then again, if you damage him in any way, he might sue you...it's the American way anymore.

My advice-let him bring the fight to you in a crowd of people while you tell him "Hey, I don't want to fight you" very loudly. However, I'm wondering, if he said he'd fight you and your friend and he's meeting you somewhere-what makes you think he won't bring more friends?

Personally, I'd say screw it unless you're backed up against the wall and have no other choice. I've had a friend shot because of a challenge like this; I'd hate to see the same happen to you.

thanks guys. and no if he hits the ground that mean's i win that a gypsy rule. and he has no martal atrs traning what so ever and its not 2 on 1 its just me and him i got my friend there for protection.

As a former bouncer I learned to stick with grappling and body blows when faced with a fight. A former co worker punched a guy in the head once, the guy died from brain damage and whammo 6 years in prison.

I realize that likely won't happen there since you are allowed to defend yourself in most states as long as you are being reasonable in your defence, but you can still get sued.

I usually grab the first limb thrown at me and use it to take him down, most people with no training lead with their power usually a right that you can see coming so either grab the right and pull him across you since his weight will be transferring forward then land on top of his arm and bend the elbow the wrong way, or you can sidestep it and throw a hard shot to the sternum. Or as someone else said kich him hard in the left knee before it gets to you. Choose whichever option you feel most comfortable with and focus on it would be the way to go since you don't have time to practice.

Ok well the fight is at church so i got at least a week for it. So i'm gonna do what you guy's said and do lot's of push-ups and pull-ups and hit that bag alot Anything else.

"Nobody wins a fight" - Dalton, Roadhouse

If there's one thing that I've learned in the few years that I trained in Kung Fu, (many, many years ago) it's that you can prepare yourself for a fight if one is coming, but looking for one is never a smart option.

(I'll take from your name that you might actually be 13 years old, and I'll address your question thus because of it.)

As you are 'preparing' for a fight, first think about these things:

Why are you fighting? Is it to prove yourself? To prove a point? Is this the school bully, who's going to whup your ass every time if you don't stand up to him?

What brought on the fight? Were you acting all tough and saying, "Hey, this guy ain't so tough - I can take him." Were you 'called out' to fight him?

Why can't you walk away? Can you talk it out? Is there some reason you have to fight?

My most important thought is this. What constitutes the end of the fight? (For him, and for you!) And, before you quote 'gypsy rules', are you sure he's going to be a 'gentleman' about it? When you're fighting, there are no real rules, so who's to say he's not going to get pissed and try to humiliate you?

Think of this - you take his hits, land your own, and are the 'winner' (see my quote above). The crowd you draw is all over your win, cheering and the like, and you feel like 'Big Man'. He's on the ground, bleeding, and gets up while you're recieving all your glory.

He pulls a knife out, sticks it in your back, punctures your kidney and kills you. ...it happens more frequently than you would think.

Have you ever noticed that Boxers, Ultimate Fighters, Kickboxers, etc. always have a Referee to make sure that the fighters fight fairly, and that they're never injured beyond repair?

Food for thought.
