Scale/LBs haven't changed, but LOOK skinnier/clothes fit... why??

Yea, I answered the second question above.

In a nutshell, a caloric deficit will lead to weight loss.

An optimized deficit by way of paying attention not only to the number of calories but also the nutrients you put in your moth will favor fat loss over generic weight loss.

Adequate vitamins too.... fruits and veggies are your friend.

Yeah, I take "prenatal vitamins" every day (no, I'm not pregnant, but I've been told they are good for skin, hair, and nails over regular multi-vitamins) plus I've been taking hydroxycut (half the recommended dose). And I'll usually devour a banana at breakfast and a small apple after my workout session. I also eat a good helping of edamame (high protein) and/or a hard boiled egg as a snack quite a few times a week. My favorite dinner is a filet of tilapia fish with light seasoning and either rice, beans, salad, or a veggie - that'll be my traditional dinner quite a lot (yes, I cook).

I'm not a fan of hydroxycut... or any other 'weight loss' pill for that matter. I've just never had to use them for myself or clients in order to obtain results.... so why throw them into the mix? A proper diet and balanced exercise approach will get you to where you're trying to be.

I know quite a few people that used the original hydroxycut and it worked well.... but it's changed since then. I'm not even sure what's in it anymore.

But in theory, you should be getting at least 100 grams of protein per day. You probably aren't.

You should also be eating more veggies.... more so than fruit. The fibrous stuff.

You should also be getting in something like .25-.35 grams of the good fats each day per pound of total body weight. Think things like avacados, nuts, fish, fish oil pills (def. these), flax, extra virgin olive oil, natty peanut butter, etc, etc.
