just have a couple of questions about timing of day to do my cardio for max fat loss/min muscle loss or does it not make a difference. Right now im cutting so im trying to be picky at all the little things that might help me mantain strength and muscle!
1.) Ive always heard that your suppose to run in the morning and lift in the evening because in the morining your insulin levels are lower even though glycogensis is able to take place, insulin has its most dramatic effect on lipase, breaking down fat
2.) lift in the evening because your insulin levels are higher and your muscles will be able to replenish themselves.
what if what i call running might be actually be HIT, would this still be the case?
I also have another question not related to this issue. Because im on already on a calorie deficit (20%) would it be smart to throw in carb cycling or would that cause greater muscle loss? Thanks
