I heard alot of good stuff about that fighter, that he atleast used to be good, so i went and downloaded videos of some of his fights.. but ive seen him do nothing but loose :S
so whats all the fuzz about? :S
 
He's a Gracie. Look up Gracie BJJ.

try and check his fight stats win loss etc

there is one fighter i found Benny 'the jet' Urquidez
he is an undefeated legend with 200+ wins 0 losses

i want to check his videos soon
 
In the early days of UFC when it was style vs style, he came in and changed the way no-holds-barred was viewed. Not many took credit to the ground game until he came in and started choking and tapping 'em out.

Yup, Benny is a legend. Also check out Bill 'Superfoot' Wallace.
 
Here's his fight history. He lost to Sakuraba due to unable to continue (after fighting for one hour and half) and to Harold Howard also due to unable to continue. He lost to Yoshida in an all Grappling Match, other than that, either he won, or drew with his opponent.



Royce Gracie started beating people in the UFC (way back 1993), defeating four opponents in one day is not easy. But ofcourse, that is when few people knew about the ground game. Now that fighters are well rounded, its harder for them (the Gracie family) to win.

RE: Benny the Jet, I know he is a kickboxer only, MMA is quite different, never heard of his record, but thats pretty amazing if its true. Rickson Gracie, claims he has a 500-0 record, I used to have his fight history but seem to lost it and there's no proof also.

so is it like most of his fights were won as a kick boxer

I dont think he fought MMA, and I cant find any record of his 200-0. But I would defintely agree he is a LEGEND...
 
I used to workout with a guy that trained with Royce and his brothers. Dude was no joke when it came to grappling.

i am also curious about this fighter named Frank Dux
his life story was featured in a movie called 'bloodsport'
the movie was **** but the various world records he has set in the fighting arena really makes me want to look at him fighting.
