Routine Question

I've heard that a way to maximize strength gain is by doing opposites push/pull exercises for muscles. My question is, is it better to do 1 set of a pull, followed by a set of a push? Or do all my sets for a pull and then all my sets for a push afterwards? or do pulls on monday and then pushes on wednesday and rotate days?

Thanks.

A push/pull is where you work one type and then another, but not in the same day. So you use pushing muscles (pecs, shoulders, quads, tris, etc.) in one workout and then you do pulling muscles (back, hams, traps, bis, glutes, etc.) in another workout. So you wouldnt use them on the same day, it would be one day of push muscles, and then another day of pull muscles. It's like a split routine, different days.

you mean alternating, yes it can help with strength because the muscle worked gets longer to recover.
i prefer to do all sets then alternate if you do 1 set then change that is similar to a superset.
