reintroduction after long hiatus

So it's been ages since I've posted anything in any of the main forums, and ages since I posted in my diary. I'm not really a newcomer, but I think maybe people won't remember me from before, so I thought I'd reintroduce myself. I did so much better with staying on program when I was coming to this forum frequently, so I'm going to start visiting the forums at least once a week if not more. I look forward to having many positive and helpful discussions with many people. If you read my weight loss diary entitled "Amy loses and wins" then you'll get to know a bit more about me.

Starting weight: 203 lbs (my height is 5 feet)

current weight: 154 lbs

Goal weight range: 110 - 120 lbs

I have always had trouble with losing weight because I have a problem with over eating. My weight has fluctuated a lot in my adult life because I've had times of clarity and control where I stuck to a healthy eating and exercise regime pretty well, but I've fallen off the wagon several times.

My new attitude is that I can no longer make excuses, but I have to acknowledge that I'm human and slips will happen. I just have to, instead of giving up each time they do, learn to move on. Take it one day at a time, so to speak.

I'm practically an expert on what works to lose weight because I've done it so many times. I just have to learn to let the healthy habits stick.

Losing weight is easy... I think everyone has done it at least once in their life... it's the keeping it off thru lifestyle changes that's what takes a change in mindset... but sounds like you're getting yourself there.

Welcome back
