I'm never good at introducing myself....so I guess I will start with the basics....

First, I am a 26 year old stay at home mom. I have been overweight, and got a wake up call when I began to have a uterine prolapse, due to being overweight. My doctor said it could be changed by losing weight, but that I had to do that, or I was setting myself up for a life of surgeries! Not to mention I am TIRED of sick, tired, no energy and struggling to keep up with my two LIVELY toddlers!

I have a wonderful little girl(3) and an adorable little boy(2)....oh, and did I mention I maybe be expecting our third?????

I started at 319lbs! I have lost 23lbs already and have set a goal of 250lbs. My complete goal weight loss is 155-165lbs. I just need to break it into smaller goals so I don't get overwhelmed! I am a large bone/framed woman and am 5' 9 1/2", so it took a LOT of weight for me to REALLY start feeling the brunt of being overweight. I think I hit 300lbs before I REALLY started to slow down and then it hit me and hit me HARD.

I am hoping to get support....if I am pregnant it's going to be a rough 9 months as I get VERY sick! So I was hesitant to join at first, but my husband insisted.....

Did I mention my dh is saturdaysaint? :D

Thank you so much!!

awww gee - the wife is here - now we have to behave :D

you're husband is adorable and you are a beautiful woman... and amazing too if we believe even half of what he says :D

Welcome to the forum and we're glad you are here :D

hi :D

Glad to have you both with us! Congrats on your weight loss so far! Must feel great! How are you loosing? Are you cutting cals or on a program like WW or something?

Good luck and let me know if you have any questions :D

Right now I am doing the Dr. Phil Weight Loss Solution. I am an emotional eater so it's helping me deal with that part of all of this too. I am SUPPOSED to be 1400 calories a day, but after dh calculated it out we were eating like 1100/day. Soooooo....need to up that a bit. I haven't been doing a lot of exercising though....in the proper sense of the word exercise, BUT I have been doing housework(which is more then I could say for before!), I play with the kids. I was taking the kids out for a walk every day, but have gotten sick and it's hard to do right now. Maybe we'll try for today.

I also started drinking a LOT of water! I am averaging 12 14oz glasses each day. And I used to only drink MAYBE 1 or 2. So HUGE change for me :)

I'm having a hard time finding something I can stick with for exercise that I ENJOY doing. Hopefully I can do that soon.

Thanks so much for the welcome! :D

LOL....yep..time to behave ;) :p

And thanks :D I try! It's easy to be "amazing" with him as a husband! ;)

Thanks again!!!

Hey OHD!
lol...well thanks :D We definitely were meant to be! No question about that! He's wonderful and I am sooooo glad that he has decided to start taking care of himself! His side of the family has a HIGH risk of late onset diabetes(both his parents have have it!!!)...and because of where he carries his weight high risk of heart issues.

I have tried before and tried to get him motivated, but he needed to take his time and find a motivator. He's done that and is doing amazing. We're both doing great simply because we have the other. I don't think we could do it on our own if the other wasn't because we are so in sync with each other.

Cake......yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum................*shaking head vigorously*...I mean YUUUUUUUUCK! I don't want any!!!! :p :p :p

Thanks for the welcome!
