Recent ex-smoker with a goal

Hi, I have always been interested in fitness and as such am not overweight (although after 3 kids and lack of focused exercise,a bit saggy in places!) I really want to climb Snowdon next summer with my 2 youngest sons and as a result decided that smoking had to go in order for me to stand a chance of succeeding. I do boxercise once a week and play tennis twice a week, I get bored at the gym (and its expensive!) but I need to find something that will raise my levels of fitness in order to achieve my goal. Any ideas?

Maybe try the 'Couch to 5K' program? Lots of information on the internet and I can say from personal experience that it DOES help improve your fitness level.

Well done on quitting smoking! Stay strong and don't go back to it. You'll notice how much easier your boxercising and tennis will become. Not to mention if you were ever injured.
