Some days are like that, especially when your brain is battling something. As long as sleeping so much doesn´t become your new normal you may even feel better for it tomorrow. Take care :grouphug:

Hey Rebel,

I just want to let you know that you're doing amazing! Honestly, I'm really proud of how far you've come considering we've joined the forum at around the same time. Keep at it :)

I say it´s a good thing that your body realizes it needs calories and wakes you up to get them. Waking up drowsy and hungry yet still being alert enough to get some broccoli instead of fast food? Yay for that!

Yea that was the first sweet craving i had had since i changed the way i eat. It was odd that a veggie would kill that craving. I think it was more old habits rather than really wanting something sweet. Sugar was always my quick fix when i was hungry. After the broccoli i was fine; crisis averted :)

Yea it might partiality be the depression. I just cant seem to wake up the chef in me. The stove looks so menacing right now lol. I try to keep my carbs below 50 but not much higher than 100. The quinoa happens to have a butt ton of carbs as well as the juices. The juices are loaded with vitaman a&c so i promise ill survive the night without veggies. Thanks for looking out <3

Today is going well other than alot of sleep. I have this weird craving for grits. I havent had them in so long. They are loaded with carbs so cant have them today but tomorrow well c.
I've been having these weird cravings. Always for just random things like grits pickled beets goat cheese. Its so strange lol.

I've found that real cravings - those ones that don't go away in 15-30 minutes and stick around - tend to tell me that something is missing from my diet. I dislike chips - I think they're gross but if I'm missing sodium (I'm one of those rare people who doesn't always get enough salt in my diet), I crave chips. A bit of salt on my veggies though and I'm 'cured'.

I don't believe it's always possible to check all the nutrients in your food all the time - but sometimes, learning what your body needs for carbs, sodium (might explain the pickled beets/goat cheese which are delicious separately or together), vitamin B12, protein, iron etc.

Just a thought if it keeps up :) Cravings can also signal needing water too - kind of like thinking you're hungry and you're just thirsty.

Morning all. I woke up this morning feeling pretty good. I dont think im going to stay up just yet since i beat the sun up.
I have breakfast and lunch planned but dinner i have no clue. Im some where between making something yummy or just opening a few cans of veggies and calling it good. Well something will come to me.
