really need some perspective

ok so im 25 years old and getting in better shape has been a real passion of mine for the last year or so. to make a long story short i lost 105 pounds in the last year via many different training routines and nutriona; modifications. currently i am continuing to lose more weight (about 70 pounds to go) but ive been lifting alot of weights as well. i lift every day switching between 2 different routines so i never hit the same muscle group two days in a row and i do 25-30 minutes of cardio eveyr day via the eliptical and excercise bike. i intend to start using interval training on the track in place of the machines for cardio next week. my question is am i doing enough to see results optimized? i talked with a trainer tonight who believes i should be doing more cardio and and never do cardio with weights in the same day. he also thinks i should give up meat and begin a juice diet. i guess im unsure if i should heed his advice and completely change what im doing or if i should continue as ive been doing. i just want to reach my goals as quick as i can. any advice?

Sounds to me like this trainer is trying to sell you something. If you're continuing to lose weight with what you're doing while feeling healthy and non-fatigued doing it, then there's no reason at all to change your routine.

Doing cardio every day like you're doing is fine. Just be cautious when you switch to running on the track, since running is more strenuous on the body and you might end up needing more recovery time in between sessions.

Cardio on the same day as weight training is fine. It makes it a little bit harder for people to build muscle mass when they do cardio concurrently, since they're burning more calories, but really, this shouldn't be an issue for you since your goal is weight loss.

Lastly, the diet thing. If you give up meat, it's going to make it harder to meet your protein needs. And sure, juice diets may help you lose weight, but are you planning to stay on the juice diet for the rest of your life? A diet is a diet, and it's only effective for as long as you're on it.

I would go further than Jrahein and seriously question what your trainer is advising.
We are omnivores and unless you are very careful removing meat from your diet can result in some major malnutrition, protein being one part, iron being another and there are a good number of other things you would have to source from elsewhere.
Cardio and weights on the same day, no problem just eat more.
If you genuinely never hit one muscle twice in two days I am not sure if to be impressed or disbelieve you. My routine is totally compound so this is even less likely with me but if you do anything the day after squats or deadlifts you have hit bodyparts twice in two days, this is not a problem.

As previously said, what you are doing aint broke so don't fix it. If you are doing well and enjoying it, keep going and don't make drastic changes that carry risk.
Get full details of the whys etc. from your trainer and if needed post it here or he can if he wants.

Final point well done.

Your program sounds good to me. Anyone saying you should do less resistance training to lose weight is rapidly losing credibility in my eyes. Anyone saying you should stop eating meat to lose weight is rapidly losing credibility in my eyes. Anyone saying you should go on a juice diet to lose weight is rapidly losing credibility in my eyes. Basically, I can't imagine anything this trainer could say that would make me think that he isn't either deliberately selling lies, ignorant, or stupid.
