Really need some help :(

Hi guys, i'm new to the forum as i'm really in need of some help.

I've been dieting now for nearly a month and am yet to loose a single gram of weight. I am currently 10stone exactly, and am aiming to loose around 6-7 pounds, as i am not severly overweight, just want to loose a little. I had aimed to have lost most of the weight already, and so am becomming really disheartened and every day feel like crying when i get on the scale.

For the first two weeks i was eating quite little, usually cereal for breakfast, chicken or fish for dinner and a couple of snacks in between, averaging aroung 800-1000 calories a day. After 2 weeks of no difference i went online where i read that i was porbably in starvation mode and should eat more. For the last two weeks i have been eating aroun 1200-1500 calories a day. (cereal for breakfast, fish or chicken with vegetables for dinner, soup of salads for lunch, some snacks of fruit/ cerea bars etc) I go to the gym a few times a week, but lead a fairly active lifestyle anyway, as i walk everywhere *i can't drive* and have a busy part-time job as a waitress.

I really dont know what to do, and i know that i havent lost anything as i look the same, and my clothes feel the same.

Please help, im going crazy!

just a question, how tall are you?

am not a pro, but I think that your body is trying to recover from your first two weeks of starvation. might need some time to re-adjust?
with ur current diet, I cant see anything you're doing wrong, except count calories? but you seem to eat healthy and know your stuff..
and remember that the last few pounds are the hardest to loose. I dont try more than a few hundred grams (european here hehe) a week..

I am 5,9", which i know doesnt sound like i need to loose anything, but i would be happier a few pounds lighter.

Thanks for the help, i just dont know what im doing wrong!
