Hello everyone!!
I have not been on this site in seven months. These seven months were not succesfull at all when it comes to weight loss. In fact I gained a lot. I am now exactly 196 lbs. That was hard to write.
I did everything wrong and while I was doing it I pretended it was not a big deal. Basically I ate everything in site. Now, I am terrified of being 200 lbs, so I've been back on WW for four days. Counting calories, hoping that this time I can do it. Sigh!!

Welcome back friend, I have missed seeing you on the forum!!:hurray:

good luck for this time, have you considered anything else rather than WW's....I personally dont like any of the programmes rather throw myself into cutting out rubbish and exercising but I know a lot of people who have done other programmes like Slimming world and had good results

Thanks everyone!!

I am very serious this time!! Last year I lost almost 30 lbs on WW so I know it works for me. I also like the idea of eating whatever I want in moderation. The hard part is staying focused and not allowing other factors to come in and ruin all the hard work. For example, I have to learn that having one bad diet day does not translate into a bad "seven months". When I make a mistake I am too hard on myself and I end up saying...well now it doesn't matter anyway... I HAVE to stop doing that. But today is a new day.
Good luck to us!!!!

Hi Joilgirl, try not to be so hard on yourself, having bad days is not a problem in fact the odd slip is good for you since it stimulates your metabolism, quite a lot of people have cheat days specifically for this.

You shouldn't be worried about weight loss day to day, if you're weighing daily I suggest you stop and move to weekly, all that really matters is that there's a downward trend over time, you shouldn't be worried about having "off days" since over the period of a week that's easy to balance out.

Hi, how are you?

Hope your keeping focussed. I'm the same with my eating. I've given up on my diet and will try harder again tommorro but I eat everything in sight and suffer from binge eating.
But i'm ready to try again! I can't give up this time round. I can't fail again! I have about 80-90lbs to lose. Lets do this people! We can do this!!

Good luck and I look forward to reading up on your progress x

Doing well...

Hi!!
I've been doing well this week. I stayed within my point limit and when I have a weak moment in the evenings usually, I manage to talk myself out of stuffing my face.:):)
I found these lolipops that are 20 calories a piece and when I really feel hungry I have one of those. Stops me from diving into the fridge!!
I haven't weighed myself at all in the last week and a half. I'm not sure I want to weigh myself for a while...I always feel I haven't lost enough.
I hope all you guys are doing great too. What low calorie snacks do you eat??

I have a snack at lunchtime, I like the low calorie shapers stuff you can get from boots (in the UK) it's just an apple and grape snack about 50 cals, in fact I almost always snack on fruit now, I love bananas, pretty low cal and so easy to eat, I always order a bunch each week now.

Hi Joilgirl,

Did you know that WW's had changed their point system? But I still go by the old point system. You are doing good! I am the obsolete from you I need to weigh myself to keep pushing myself, lol.

I snack on a lot of fruit, I have been eating much water melon, but now it is peaches. But I am sure that this is not the snacks you are talking about.

I need a little sweet with my coffee in the morning so I have been buying Granola bars (Great Value variety pack). The Great Value brand are 2 points each. My favorite thing to snack on (makes me feel like I am cheating) is sweet freedom fudge lites (2 for 1 point).

In the winter I have used DB gum, hard candy, and I even snack on multi grain cheerios. I take healthy cereals in zip lock bags with me on the go sometimes, cauliflower with a little salt or no salt in a zip lock baggie is a good snack on the go too. Those cinn. sucker are good, but you got to count the points and suckers and bubble gum will take away from your healthy foods. ( So fruit, veggies, healthy cereal, granola bars, the sweet freedom sugar free fudge lites are the best snacks for me.)

Sometimes I will just go grab two slices of Sara Lee multi grain 45 cal bread and maybe put 1 tbsp of sugar free smucker's strawberry jam on it 1 point.

Green Bean (free food), I love green beans on 45 cal or 35 cal bread 1 point for two slices of bread. Big slice of tomato (free food) on 45 or 35 cal bread with cheese 3 points.

Eat healthy get plenty of sleep and good exercise! :seeya:
