You mentioned eating less and drinking more water so your body will lose water weight. Reducing carbs or a carb-free diet will result in your body losing water weight as 1g carbs holds onto 3mls water. And to even mention this as a temporary weight solution is ridiculous and puts people into a false sense of security. It will just return instantly as soon as they consume carbs and will lead to them being more depressed.

Again with the lower calorie foods, always check the food labels as food companies are very sneaky. Also, eat within macros or you will gain weight. No matter how 'low' it is.
