I have a feeling that this could be a long first entry ;}
I guess the best place to start would be to be at the beginning and with the truth.
I cannot remember where there hasn't been a time when I've not had a problem with my weight. I've was always the "fussy kid" and I'd believe I'd grow out of it but I never had. I have a fear of trying new food and therefore have relied on the good old junk food kids always eat and that's what helped me become the weight that I am.
I've been on numerous diets so more extreme than others but I've come to realise that if I don't change the way that I am with my eating habits then it'll never happen. The only way to do that is to face up to my fear of trying new foods and just go with it because I can't take being this weight.
As of late, I've been eating pretty healthy. I've cut done on the junk a lot and have taken to eating more fruit, I've managed to try and start to enjoy salads. I've tried and now enjoy rice and have swap normal cereal to high fiber muesli, I've swap white bread for wholemeal rolls and given up fizzy drinks. It's a start.
I've increased the amount of time I exercise. I try to get 1 hour of exercise everyday except Sunday and started to go swimming again as well as going to the gym.
At my highest weight, I was 154lbs and I am currently 141.5. I'd love to get to 115lbs although I have to have a realistic goal because I tend to be a little unrealistic with goals.
