So obviously the top two things are probably actually working out hard and not being able to eat the foods we like. I thought I thought we could have a bit of a list of other annoying things that happen during the whole thing.
1. A t-shirt (or any item of clothing) you have just bought is a bit too tight. That's OK because you want to lose some more weight anyway, so you chuck it to the back of the wardrobe and forget about it. A few months later you try it on and it's too big.
2. People telling you that you look great and you shouldn't lose anymore (even though your BMI isn't comfortably in the healthy zone) just because they are used to seeing you as a massive whale.
3. Someone offers you something (a crisp/snack/alcoholic beverage) that ordinarily you would snap up. Everyone around you is eating/drinking and you turn them down. Now you're an outcast because you aren't joining in and start questioning you deeply about your diet, which they really don't care about.
4. When you tell people how much weight you've lost (because they asked), people are initially impressed and then attempt to regale you with stories about how much weight they have lost and how fat they have been, when you know it's clearly bollocks.
5. Not recognising yourself in photos. Granted this is fairly amusing, but it just happened to me on facebook
