Hi All I'm new to the forum my name is Leeann,



I've noticed that quite a few of us are in the same boat when it comes to trying to lose weight. I've done some searching about online as i am a bridesmaid at my sisters wedding in 2 months and naturally want to look my best next to the other bridesmaid who is like a uk size 10...i had my first baby 6 months ago and needless to say my body is not the same!


so heres what I found- I hope this helps anyone ;)

At Wikipedia i got some excellent information on the foods that we should avoid and loads of good tips for diet and exercise ...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/weightloss


then there were some good fast start menu plans on the weight watchers site, its a full 7 day quick start menu that tells you breakfasts, lunches and dinners and also includes snacks [link removed]


another great source was slimming world also providing you with a 7 day meal plan, [links removed]


hope any of this information is useful...this is the 3rd time ive been dieting!

I"m new as well. It's nice to feel like you have soo much support. It's not always so easy to get that at home when you have tried every yo-yo diet out there. Some of my friends pointed me in the didrection of some online tips and I did find some usefull stuff on www.webmd.com, www.wikipedia.com, www.55-local-collegiate-tricks.com, and www.weightwatchers.com.


So now, I figured I'd check in here t find out what you guys think or get anymore tips you have to offer.
