questions

everytime i workout the next day the muscles i trained are always pulled but i still work on them even when they are pulled

is this a bad thing to do? if so why

thx

Your muscles need 48 hours of recovery time at a minimum. Never work the same gorup two days in a row. And what do you mean by "pulled"? If you just mean sore that is not pulled. A pulled muscle is an injury that requires healing.

This is what I belive i could be wrong tho...When your sore that means your muscles have to repair and when you lift you tear your muscle fibers, so they need time to heal...but does it make sense that if you were to just hammer out the same sets day in day out without resting you would actually lose muscle...Because you just keep tearing the muscle and tearing it??

what if i wait the 48 hours and the muscles are still sore, like i worked out friday and my schedule has me working out using the same program on monday. should i still do it, or should i wait longer?

I do but I back off a bit. If you are extrememly sore you may need an extra day. Some soreness can be worked through. Do some strectching or light work on your off days to increase blood flow to the group and speed recovery.
