Question about weightloss and dieting

does your body loose fat consistantly? like if ur doing cardio and dieting and your loosing weight, does your whole body loose fat? cause im a guy and i dont want a skinny body but my ass or my boobs arent

or does it just all go away evenly

The body usually loses weight from the extremities in. Meaning the first place you will start to notice change is your arms and legs and then it kinda works its way in to the midsection. Remember losing body fat goes against nature. Your body will want to hold onto fat, it's an old mechanism from our hunter gatherer days. Back then when winter came the plants died and the animal hid from the cold so poeple ate very little. So the body adapted by holding on to fat during times of decreased calories. The main place it held onto fat was the midsection to protect the vital organs. So that area is usually last to go. I'm experienceing this right now. Down 40lbs and my waist is just starting to budge. It's kind of a practical joke!:D The key is to be in for the long haul with weight lose and getting in shape. Viewing my body as whole has really helped. Eat small healthy meals every 3 or 4 hours, drink plenty of water, workout and get good sleep. That's the ticket, it's not brain surgery.

It goes away from different areas at different times in different people. As HollywoodBlvd said, it's best to get fitter for the long haul. So incorporating weights, cardio, and nutrition is a good idea.

Depending on your stats, it is totally possible to lose fat while gaining a bit of muscle. It just depends on your stats, goals and training/nutrition program. I am a huge fan of weights and believe it should be the primary focus of most fat loss programs.
