Question about getting in shape

Hi everyone! This is my first post, and I have no idea where to post it, so if it's in the wrong area, please forgive me, lol. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could tell me when I might start to see results. I'm 18 years old, I've hardly exercised my entire life besides playing volleyball, and basketball in school about 4 to 5 years ago. I just recently started running about 2 miles, burning 300 calories every 3 days and doing around 50-60 crunches, and then i try to burn around 150 calories on the other days. My height is 5'8" and i weight around 152-154. I would like to lose some weight around 20 pounds, and get toned abs, and thighs. I try to eat less than 1400 calories a day, and my BMR is 1559. It seems like my stomach is getting bigger rather than smaller at this point, lol. If anyone could help me out, it would be GREATLY appreciated!!
