Having some difficulty understanding, so I'm just looking for clarification...
Using a BMR Calculator mine is 1831 at a level of "sedentary".
Now I calculate my daily activity (including the gym) to burn about 600 extra calories.
So that puts me at about 2431 calories needed a day.
Is this correct?
In my journal it looks like people are calculating my BMR at a "moderately active" level of 2450 then adding on that the activity I do at the gym... my understanding was that you can calculate it one of two ways... the first being using their "average activity level scale" and the second being using the "sedentary" level or BMR and adding to it your actual activities.
I'm being told that at my moderate level of activity (2450) plus my 600 calories burned a day, my need should be about 3100 calories...
Which is more likely acurate, the 2400 or the 3100?
