Question about biking

I have a Roadmaster bike from Walmart. I was wondering if anyone might know a weight limit on these? Basically, I want to know if 276 is too fat to ride a regular bike. It seems pretty well built. I'm just worried about the tires.

Hi friends
I have sumtrhing to tell you imaninjadangit.I have 600 cc yamaha bike and my waight is 380,And when i sit on my bike and drive it then my bike easily take me where ever i want to go,So dont very about ur waight,You are just 276.so ride your bike to where ever you want to go.

I appreciate the reply! I've ridden my bike a couple of times, now. I think I was just worried, because I saw the front tire go down, and figured I was too fat for it. I'm good now, though!

It's a steel frame, so you're sorted with that. When it comes to the tires, having some deformation is important, no matter what weight you are. If it looks like it's bulging out the sides a little too much, pump it up a bit but stay within the pressures advised by the tube/tire. It's about reducing rolling resistance, but allowing for enough deformation for objects in the road/cushioning and grip through the corners.

Congrats on getting a bike, by the way!!! It's a green form of transport, and a great way to sneak in some exercise while having fun! :)
