Hello
I am a 21-year old male, healthy, okay shape. I used to weigh 76 kg with a fat percentage of around 5.5, so I was looking pretty good. This has changed though. I am now down to 72-73kg, I almost never work out and I'm in constant pain.
I have problems with my pubic bone joint/muscle attachment/whatever it is. I have been to my doctor's, and they first told me to relax, didn't help. Then they sent me to physical therapy, where I received ultrasound and laser. This kind of helped, but the pain came back, and I've come back there twice after feeling cured because the pain returns.
The pain is strongest when I sleep. I sometimes wake up at night feeling like I have to pee, but really it's my pubic bone killing me. As you can imagine, I can basically do no work-outs because of this: Every single excersive requires me to flex my core to prevent damaging my spine and neck, but of course, this is fitness 101.
The pain initially started a year and a half ago, after having quite a lot of sex, honestly, combined with over-exercising my abs. I ignored the pain for I think around 9 months, just working out anyway, figuring it was just something that would eventually go away. It didn't, and is now so bad that I'm basically in pain all the time.
I am diabetic, and my urin is frequently checked, I have no issues or pain when peeing. The area isn't sore, swollen, red or otherwise indicating pain. The physical therapist went kind of "hm", you know, the kind of "hm" you don't wanna hear from a doctor/etc. He did all kinds of exercises with me I pushed and touched all kinds of areas trying to provoke pain, but the only thing that hurts is when I use the muscle.
I have another doctor's appointment in two weeks, but this is really starting to worry me, and I'm thinking about if I ever will work out again
Any ideas as to what this might be, or what I can possibly do to make it better?
