Protein Waffles

yup. i took this same recipe and made protein pancakes. worked great. i love these. i leave out the splenda and put in peanutbutter. everything is natural when i make them. AWESOME RECIPE!!!!!!

These are now a staple in my diet, they are sooo good! I can't find dry curd cottage cheese where i live so i just drain Scotsburn Fat Free CC and omit the salt from the recipe. I also omitted the Splenda and the date. At first i couldn't get them to work as waffles and had to go the pancake route but that was because i had been using too much baking powder. Easily corrected and they turn out great. They are great to freeze and reheat like Eggos as well.

Calculated using my ingredients:
Per 2x 4" waffles (1/4 of recipe): Calories 150; Fat 2g; Carbs 14g; Fiber 2g; Protein 18g

I usually have these in the morning with 1tsp of RSF Becel and 2 tbsp E.D.Smith No Sugar Added Syrup.

wow these are very good! I just made them without any splenda and just 3 teaspoons of sugar because I didnt have any splenda, and they still taste great!

i got this off another forum, so its not my recipe, but i hear its damn tastey, and you can re-toast them like an Eggo...good for on-the-go nutrition.bOne of those and a piece of fruit would be pretty good pre-workout nutrition.

My wife made them yesterday and they are awesome. use a little honey or some syrup that doesn't have high fructose corn syrup, and it'd be a decent post workout meal. or pre workout meal for that matter.

My wife did the math on it - 21g protein and 23g carbs per serving with like 1g of fat. (no dates)
I probably know the forum this was lifted off of, but you should have tasted it before stating you have heard it is tasty. Honey or syrup added will alter the calories no?
