The first plate looks the best, and the most practical since it has the measuring units. How cool! I want one!!

What a good idea.

The 2nd two look useless....

I can see why you might use one if you're not counting calories. It will help you to recognize a portion size of the food groups in the long run.

Ultimately though they're expensive, and I'd be happier sticking to my food scale.

I think the first one EZplate would actually help you count calories, because you can just put the food in and tally the calories based on the measurement for most items. You might still need a scale for things like meat and stuff.

Weighing food seems to take me forever, then there is the cleanup.

The EZplate, was only $16. Not too bad, and well worth it for quick prep time for taking your meals to work. I just bought one. Can't wait to get it!!!

Going to make it real easy to prep my cup of veggies and my side dishes. whoo hoo

$16 for a plate is a lot, especially for those of us who have very little to no income. I use my food scale for everything so a plate like that is not necessary (and if I do happen to need measuring cups, I have many sets). Measuring cups aren't accurate enough for me.

And I don't have any clean up after using the scale. Do you have the tare feature?

Wow, Sorry to hear that $16 a lot of money for you. That sucks.

Food scales are about the same price anyhow, and more for the better ones.

I'm not knocking your food scale, I do see the value in them. This thread is about plates, not scales. sheesh
