Hi everyone!
I am Project Thin, and I have been a somewhat chronic dieter over the last 5 years. I had a remarkable success story with my first diet back at the start of 2006, and I lost about 12 kg over the course of six months and got to a very respectable weight of 70 kg. After that, I moved to Japan, and put about 8 kg of that back on over the course of two years. All that ramen and sushi got to me, I think. Oh yes, and then there's the beer...
I had another brief diet stint of a few months back in 2008, and I managed to get down to 74 kg or so. That didn't last so long, however, and I'm back up to 80+ kg. I've started to notice the growing bulge around my middle (I'm a man, by the way), and I've started to notice various aches and pains that my doctor just can't seem to pin down. There is only one solution: diet! And this time, I need to change my lifestyle for good. That's where this forum comes in. I'm going to make it a personal goal for me to write in these forums every day. Every day you'll see a new diary, and every day you'll be able to give me the kick up the backside that I need to keep me going!
I'll see you all over in the diary section. Hopefully it should make for interesting reading.
