I don't know if this is in the right forums, but here I go... (I'm 20, 6'1'', 155 lbs)
I have been exercising twice a week for the past three weeks, to try to lose some fat around my neck and stomach. In general, I'm thin (my body mass index is 20.1) but I am getting a little pudgy down there. My exercise routine usually includes 3.1 miles on a treadmill and some free weight lifting. At the same time, I've cut down my calorie intake -- replaces sandwiches with salads, try to control my portions at dinner -- but I don't know how much more I can do without starving myself.
Yet, I've seen virtually no results and I'm starting to become discouraged. If anything, it has gotten a little bit worse.
Does anyone have some tips on this sort of thing?
