Long time lurker of the forum here, really seen some inspirational stuff on here. Thought I would show you guys some cool stuff I ran across on fiverr in return for what I found here.
Sometimes when I get depressed i'll buy something weight loss related from there, although most of them are so-so or rubbish. Found one recently that has been actually helping me lose weight.

I dunno, I think it would be pretty good for someone who has been fat all their lives. It's written pretty straight forward, no fluffy stuff. Since doing what's suggested in there I have already lost 10 lbs in just over a week, starting off at 322.
To summarize his book:
1. Talks about why Americans are fat - claims its because of eating stuff that humans weren't designed to eat, like a lot of bread and rice
2. How to come up with a new diet for life - it's a low carb diet where you cut out a lot of crap most people eat
3. Talks about how to get active
He used to be really really fat - so his guide is written for those who are like that.
The only downside is that it's written in pretty blunt language, there is some cursing and stuff. It's totally worth it.
