Hey,

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for prawn dishes? I know they are low in fat and I do enjoy them but im getting tired of prawn stir-fry! Any ideas would be great!

Thanks

I like scampi - lots of garlic, a bit of olive oil and some fresh parsley - if you want to make it saucier - add in a little fish stock/chicken stock/or vegetable stock an then serve over whole grain angle hair pasta.

I'll take a piece of proscuitto and wrap it around the shrimp/prawn - then broil it until the shrimp is pink and the proscuitto is a little crispy.

I will chop up the shrimp into a food processor, add an egg, garlic, parsley and a few other herbs, then a slice or two of whole grain bread and lightly chop it - then make it into a patty - and bake or pan saute.

oooh i've done that with pineapple - marinate the shrimp in the pinapple juice (and garlic because i like garlic in everything) and some ginger... then skewer 'em -with chunks of pinepple and the shrimp.... and grill..

Same exact thing only I use 1/4 cup whole wheat or rye flour instead of bread slices, stuff the mixture into portabello mushroom caps and bake.
