Please help!

Hey everyone. I've been working out pretty much everyday for like 3 months now and for the longest time I wasn't able to lose a pound from 190. Then on a Strikeforce week end they had Herschel Walker on TSN and he was saying that he only ate one meal a day, that consisted of one soup and one salad for dinner. Seeing as how I don't think I've seen an athlete quite like him, especially at that age, I decided to only eat one meal too.
So for maybe one month I would wake up, work out for 2-3 hours (often running for an hour with out stopping) then I would eat a not exactly super healthy dinner (when I'm that hungry things like vegetables might as well of never existed). This made me lose 10 pounds, right now I'm at 180, and I was thinking of dropping another 10 pounds even faster but my way is not exactly fast or easy.
I now realize running for an hour is a bad idea because it just gives me really really good cardio but doesn't really burn fat as well as I thought it did. So my simple work out that I do right now consists of basically 3 things; I do the leg press 40 times at 190 (I do this twice in a row before I leave the machine), then I do 10 pull ups in a row, then I go to a mat to do my lower ab exercise for a while, then I repeat for 2+ hours.

I just want to know if anyone has tips (for losing 10 pounds fast) for someone who doesn't need fuel in his tank, can work out really hard and can do it every single day. I don't know if I should be taking some sort of protein shake to increase my metabolism or I should go back to running or what?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I hope this might help you. Its an article on Jump Rope. I was in a similar situation as you and i lost weight fast from this. check it out.

My only tip would be to keep doing cardio at least 3 times a week for at least 30 minutes, and add 20 minutes of HIIT in there every other day or something to mix it up. Burning fat is something that happens when your body doesn't receive sufficient calories, and doing cardio burns calories. Quite frankly, asking to lose anything more than 2 pounds a week is a bit unrealistic unless you are very overweight. Don't eat 1 meal a day, that will do more harm than good, only reason you lost so much weight was because your body was basically starving, and you probably lost a bit of muscle, and definitely a lot of food weight, its simply not a healthy way to lose weight. Optimally you want 4-6 smaller meals a day, maybe around 300-500 calories depending on how many meals you eat, and your daily calorie needs. Eat healthy! Diet is the most important part in losing weight. My goal at the moment is to lose 9 pounds of pure fat in 8 weeks, which is a fairly realistic goal for me, I'd change your mindset about losing the weight fast because its not healthy and generally its not all fat youre losing.

Ok so I'll start doing cardio every other day or something and I shall start eating 2 instead of 1 meal every day, 4-6 is a little rough for me, sometimes I feel really sick when I eat too early in the day.

But I've been looking stuff up on metabolism and does anyone know anything about special drinks that you can buy from a grocery store or something that increases metabolism? I don't know if that's what the drink slim fast does.

you could drink green tea, though you need to drink a lot of it for an effect, around 5 or 6 glasses a day. Personally i just take green tea extract. There are thermogenics out there which basically are supposed to increase your body level, therefore increasing calories burned, but I don't trust them too much, and they could be potentially bad for you. I'd stick to green tea, and maybe flaxseed oil. I don't know of any drinks that would increase your metabolism, but having a 100 or 200 calorie healthy drink every few hours in between meals would keep your metabolism running faster.

Oh ok, that's actually some solid advice because I heard that drinking green tea was really good I naturally figured that meant making yourself one cup every day, but 4-6, that's crazy. That green tea extract stuff sounds right up my ally though, I want to be able to get like 5 cups of green tea in like one 150ml glass, that's awesome. What kind of stuff do you use?

I use this stuff called Mega T Green Tea Extract. Basically I take a pill twice a day with 8 ounces of water. Its good for the metabolism, antioxidants, and i found it somewhat cuts down on my cravings which is good.
