Hey everyone. I've been working out pretty much everyday for like 3 months now and for the longest time I wasn't able to lose a pound from 190. Then on a Strikeforce week end they had Herschel Walker on TSN and he was saying that he only ate one meal a day, that consisted of one soup and one salad for dinner. Seeing as how I don't think I've seen an athlete quite like him, especially at that age, I decided to only eat one meal too.
So for maybe one month I would wake up, work out for 2-3 hours (often running for an hour with out stopping) then I would eat a not exactly super healthy dinner (when I'm that hungry things like vegetables might as well of never existed). This made me lose 10 pounds, right now I'm at 180, and I was thinking of dropping another 10 pounds even faster but my way is not exactly fast or easy.
I now realize running for an hour is a bad idea because it just gives me really really good cardio but doesn't really burn fat as well as I thought it did. So my simple work out that I do right now consists of basically 3 things; I do the leg press 40 times at 190 (I do this twice in a row before I leave the machine), then I do 10 pull ups in a row, then I go to a mat to do my lower ab exercise for a while, then I repeat for 2+ hours.
I just want to know if anyone has tips (for losing 10 pounds fast) for someone who doesn't need fuel in his tank, can work out really hard and can do it every single day. I don't know if I should be taking some sort of protein shake to increase my metabolism or I should go back to running or what?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
