**PLEASE HELP** Odd pain in Pectoral Muscle

Hey yall,,

this is my first post but ive gone to several forums and noone will even attempt to help me. so please if you have ever had similar experiece or could atleast point me in the right direction of recovery/advice me in possible treatment or things to research PLEASE HELP

i was doing pull overs and different pectoral/tricep exercised on a piece of home gym equipment. i didnt feel a pull or anything but next day it hurt to do certain exercises i felt a sharp pain in the chest like a pulled muscle pain...i avoided exercises that produced the pain and finished workout...after work out was over i examined the location of the pain and found a like bulge or knot about 3 inches below collar bone around the rib cage area..it almost feels like a rib stickin up. its about 3/4 inch tall and about 1-1.25 inches wide...and was REALLY sensitive to the touch it was like that for a few days but didnt hurt if i did push ups and bench press but does hurt if i do dips or pull downs like triceps exercises...i went to doctor and he said it was fine but to take it easy....well i did for about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks and the pain is pretty much gone but it hurts when i do triceps pull downs and stuff and now the pain is pretty much GONE...but the bulge is still there on the left chest about 2 inches to the left of sternum and 2 inches below collar bone. please HELP i dont know what this is and its gonna be like 2-3 weeks b4 i can make it back to doctor...any ideas?

ok so i just got a weider cross bow legend (its like a bowflex if you've never seen one) and im trying to get back in shape. im 20 and used to be a pretty devout martial artist. and im trying to get back in shape after a few years of less than strenuous activity. so i have been workin out for about a year now but just recently got my bowflex which enables me to work out at home as well as at gym . within 2-3 weeks of havin it...i guess i pulled somethin...if you have any idea what this is please help/
