I just read about the pistachio principle (basically how eating in shell pistachios slows down your eating because you have to work at it and eat them one at a time.) Are there other foods with similar principles like the leftover shells tell you "whoa you at a lot of *insert food here*" time to stop?
I think the pistachio thing might work for me but I can't just eat pistachios
