Last Fall when I decided I wanted to lose the weight I had gained over the last few years I bought a few diet books looking for the 'perfect' method.
I couldn't find just one that I was willing to follow 100% but I did pick & choose a few things that seem to help a lot.
I was hoping some of you would have some tips to share too!
These are some of what has worked for me-
from You on a Diet - eating the same thing for breakfast every day. I made up a mix of whole grains, Raisins & Nuts from the health food store. I mix it with a tablespoon of pysllium fiber & a little sweetner. I pour hot water over it & let it soak while I have my morning tea. It keeps me full until lunch.
from The Atkins Diet - Lowered my carbs. Don't eat wheat at all & the other whole grains I eat I keep to a lower percentage of my diet.
Just two examples but they have really worked for me. What works for you?
