I'm new in the forum here, and thought I would introduce myself. I'm a 20-something actress living in New York City, and really trying to trim away some unwanted pounds.
I'm a pescetarian (vegetarian who occasionally eats fis,h but no meat), I try to eat organic when I can, and I'm a social drinker.
I'm rather petite (5'2") so even a few extra pounds are really noticeable on my frame. Right now I wear a size 8 (sometimes 10) in pants, and a 6-8 in dresses (usually a small in tops). I don't know how much I weigh (threw out the scale a year or so ago), but I'd guess somewhere between 150-160.
I'd like to slim down to a size 4, and about 125. I'm planning to use a healthy, vegetarian friendly diet, exercise and yoga, in conjunction with a self-hypnosis program I've subscribed to.
I'd like to find people here with similar goals, or who are following similar avenues in order to lose weight. Looking forward to becoming part of a supportive forum community.
