Pasta for breakfast

hey guys, well here goes

im trying to lose weight, i woke up today at about 12.30pm, and since it wasnt really a breakfast time! and i was planning on goin gym bout 3pm, i thought id leave my usual weetabix and skimmed milk which iv been havin bout 10am and have pasta/spicey dolmio/high protein low fat cheese for my first meal for energy for my 8.5km/750kcal/55min treadmil run,

also by leaving the weetabix i have left out a uneeded 200kcals from my day,
altho i was wonderin, when u wake up, ur body is in hibernation mode, would my body store any of that large pasta meal as fat?

cheers

You might have done better with the cottage cheese you were talking about in the other thread and a slice or two of whole wheat bread. (Simply because it's so easy to go over in calories with pasta unless you measure it out beforehand.)

well im just about to have a 800 - 900 calorie workout, surely thatll burn off that meal? while in the process toning my muslces

The meal you consumed more likely than not was mostly carbs, so I'm guessing you'd be in luck because it was a pre-workout meal. However, protein is necessary for muscle recovery/rebuilding and the only source you'd have for that would be the cheese. I think it's more efficient to make your protein source the main part of the meal, and have the carb source as a side rather than the opposite.

yeah i see where ya comin from, altho this cheese has some ridiculous protein - fat ratio

i think this is either for 100g or 30g

37g protein
4g fat

crazy ratio for cheese

How many hours per night are you sleeping? By you saying you woke up at 12:30, I assume you were up all night. 8 hours of sleep is recommended (for muscle growth which I think you wanted in your last topic about cottage cheese). Hopefully you don't have a late night job, so you can get the 8 hours of sleep.

Also note that food is not optional... especially breakfast! I recommend eggs in the morning. Just boil 2 eggs, and you're pretty much good till lunch. 200 cals for a sitting is not that much, if you can space it out to 5 meals a day (that's only 1000 cals which is very bad for diet). You want to do at least 300~400 cals per meal.

lazy..... me!
