Overweight family

There must be more to the story than was published.

I personally am gobsmacked at this:
In July this year, it was reported that Dundee City Council had signed a one-year £114,000 contract with private 'minders' to stop them from over-eating.

Seriously? For one family? For that amount of money you could have sent the lot of them to a fitness spa for 3 months and had money leftover.

Or provided them with a private chef and trainer for a year to cook for them and help them workout.

What on earth did their "minders" do with £114,000 that it didn't work????

Exactly.

For the kind of money thrown at this situation, they could have provided live in care and education.

Demonising their food choices makes them appealing. if instead, however, the famly had a live in chef and food education it would have been a better use of resources.

Damn, the 11 year old girl weighs more than me. Well, she was 11 a year ago.

Here again, people have a radical misunderstanding about what makes them fat:

At the time, the mother said of social services: 'They keep making an issue about the kids' weight. I don't even own a deep-fat fryer.'

I bet they got a 40kg bag of potatoes in their pantry, though.

My request is please you hire one best cook and one best fitness trainer. So, health is in control and you enjoy your life.

Thanks,
Stringer
