I am with Kara...Start with a little walking...The hardest part is tying your shoes...If you Keep it up only a few days you will see improvement and that will help you keep going.
244 on a 6 foot 7 inch frame is not that bad. I think you were a bit hard on yourself when you picked the name "obese one"
 
One thing I would suggest is that you try mixing in some egg whites with your eggs, about five days a week I eat 4 scrambled egg whites with one yolk mixed in. I then whip the eggs with a fork for about 20 seconds and then scramble with some cheese, a slice of ham or turkey and top with low sodium chunky salsa. It is a great way for me to get the eggs I like with less of the cholesterol at almost the same taste and consistency. Another thing to keep in mind is if you start exercising your body will need some sodium to retain the more fluids you are drinking, so if you think it through: the more you exercise the more sodium you can have in your diet while still being healthy. I would also MOST IMPORTANTLY try to deal with your self esteem issues. I guarantee you a worthwhile person with a lot to offer, I can read it in your responses. You will never let yourself be happy, confident, or successful if you do not love yourself first, trust me. Find something active you can do that you enjoy. If it is walking to school, walking to the local store to look at things you want to buy, playing video games on the wii, golfing, tennis, bowling, archery, sliding down playground slides, making video-documentaries, or rolling down large hills; the most important thing is to find something you enjoy doing and do it regularly. At, brawny77, thank you for that. I've slacked off the last two days due to my mood. I made it down to 240lbs, but then went back up to 243lbs or so. That was kinda demotivating. Didn't go crazy, but yesterday I had a few cookies, a bowl of chillie and some saltine crackers in it... Today I had my usual lunch (for dinner) then a snack of a few too many mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce. So, bad me...

At, MNpineapple210. Thank you as well, your response made me smile lol. It was very nice, and I also thank you for the suggestions for the eggs as well as trying to get my self esteem up. Though school and the store are off limits, as I was home schooled and graduated early, and the nearest store is 10 miles away and mostly up hills lol. But yeah, I do need to find a good outdoor/active activity that gets me active (Wow, what a twisty sentence. lol). Winter in Ohio is kinda hard to enjoy outdoors though, cold... >.<
