I see 54oz and think it seems like a lot! But I know that many people recommend drinking way more than that. I'll probably work my way up as I go along. Otherwise I'm at risk of becoming a puffer fish :rotflmao:Maybe it'll help me to look younger - I'm in my mid twenties but people keep thinking I'm in my 30's! Although that could be my 'done with this ish' facial expressions...

I can see some definition again today! The only place that isn't leaning out is my tummy. But I can actually see my hip bones again rather than that area being a big tire that blends together.

Just finished off 54oz. Still plenty of time left in the day to drink more! We have our move in date now which is exciting.

I may or may not have eaten the leftover Chinese for lunch. Whoops. Debating between a SlimFast shake for dinner or a small meal.

By the way, is there a way to share photos more privately on this forum? I'd love to show you guys my progress so far but I don't really want the general public to be able to see them.

If it helps I'm always mistaken for older than I am too!
I have PCOS and eczema so my skin is trashed from years of hair removal and scars from scratching!

Just had a quick catch up on your diary, glad you've upped the water intake!!!

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that! PCOS is so difficult to live with and I can't imagine eczema makes things any easier. How are you getting on with the weightloss in regards to the hormonal imbalances?

I genuinely have no idea why people think I look older - maybe because of my dark circles? But those are genetic unfortunately!

PMs are a good idea :) There's not a huge difference yet but I'm getting there.

I don't even want to talk about what I ate today.

Breakfast:

SlimFast shake

Lunch:
Leftover chinese (half a chicken fried rice, a spring roll, about 5 prawn crackers)

Dinner:
SlimFast shake

'Snacks':
KFC boneless bucket

Drinks:

54oz water
8oz Tango

Exercise:
2 mile walk

Nobody look at me. I'm going hiding under a blanket.

I find low carb works for me (although I eat a lot of veg and pulses so my low carb is like most people standard day haha). That or massive calorie defecits!

I love low carb! It really works, doesn't it? I used to use low GI when I had small amounts of weight to lose. It was hard but so worth it.

I've had a couple of really bad days. My partner keeps bringing food home. He's naturally very skinny so he can get away with it but he always brings some back for me, as well. So we've finished off a 12 box of donuts between us as well as multiple takeouts this week. I don't think I look any bigger but I bet it's set me back a lb or two.

I've told him to not bring me anything unless I ask for it now. They were calories that I didn't even want.

Although I'm a bit angry at his parents. They came to visit him yesterday and announced loudly how fat he's gotten. He's a 32" waist and tiny. I can't imagine what they must think of me if he's supposedly 'so chubby'.

He took a photo of us all and I nearly cried. The weight is going away everywhere but my tummy. It still sticks out like a tire when I'm sat down. I think I'm going to have to strengthen the muscles there.

Better posture and firmer muscles can definitely make a lot of difference for how your tummy looks. Sadly stomach fat tends to be the last to go and it gets even more stubborn when you´re stressed or don´t sleep soundly.

It's taking some getting used to! I used to be a typical 'pear' shape with all of my weight going on to my hips and thighs. Since giving birth it's all gone to my tummy :(

Yesterday's food log:

Breakfast:
SlimFast shake

Lunch:
3 donuts

Drinks:
27oz water

The day before that:

Breakfast:
SlimFast shake

Lunch:
2 donuts and a milkshake

Dinner:
Chicken and bacon salad

Snacks:

SlimFast

Drinks:
54 oz water

Yesterday's diary:

Breakfast:
SlimFast shake

Lunch:
SlimFast shake

Dinner:
Salad, breaded chicken, cheese and a small amount of chips
Slice of chocolate orange cake with a scoop of icecream

Drinks:
27oz water
1 cup of tea with milk and 2 sugars

We stayed at a hotel last night. It was nice to get away from it all.

Doing a LOT better on the water. Relaxing and getting away from the day-to-day are awesome.

I think I'm going to go off the SlimFast for a while. I had a mini blackout and fell down the stairs yesterday. I actually think it's because my partner keeps not getting the dinner after work. The fridge here is still not working and they won't replace it so until we move we're having to buy dinner daily. And when he gets in from work he's just that tired that he goes to sleep. Which is fine for him since he always has a huge breakfast and lunch at work but it's just not good enough when I only have a couple of shakes before that. If I have just the shakes I only get 460 calories and I can't have multiple shakes a day because of the sugar content in them.

I can't just go up to the shops because I don't drive and I'm scared of walking long distances on my own.

So I got a lecture from him yesterday and now I'm going back on the low GI diet whilst whilst we pack up and move our things. I'm not sure how much weight I'll lose on it, if any. Really I need to start exercising again but we've had to cancel our gym membership for now because of the cost. I got attacked just before my daughter was born so now I'm afraid to leave the house which makes going for walks etc on my own difficult. I'm going to see if I can find a cheap exercise machine for at home. It'll be easier once we're in the new house and I have room to do my workout DVDs.

Glad you are coming off the shakes - they're helpful short-term but not great for you. Hope the fainting spell was a one off!!

Thankyou :) They've definitely helped shift some of that initial weight to a point where I'm comfortable enough with my figure but, as you say, they're no substitute for real food. I'm a bit worried that I'll put weight back on but I'm going to try to stick to 3 low GI meals a day.

If you gain weight on a normal, healthy amount of calories it´s time for you to up your metabolism with things like exercise. I was too angry to comment before (at your landlord and whatever shitstain attacked a woman about to give birth) but I was going to say that there are plenty of exercises you can do at home. I love the Bodycoach on Youtube and "You are your own gym" (www.marklauren.com) and neither require a lot of space. I know it´s hard to find the motivation to work out at home but it´s definitely better than eating so little you black out on the stairs. Cause that´s a thing that could kill your baby´s mom.

Thanks for the reccs, I'll check them out! I need to start doing something to get that endurance back up.

So it turns out that we all have a stomach bug which seems to be why I'm passing out.
