One thing I've noticed about food..

You get full, you feel better instantly after a good healthy meal.

So I just started eating healthy again.. instead of fast food every day, I actually take the time to shop and prepare my own healthy meals.

I used to eat fast food almost daily when I was in my depression. I was lazy & MCD's was a 3 minute walk from here.. no matter how big the meal I got, I felt hungry again within an hour.. and I felt like shit all the time.

Healthy foods are defnitely more satisfying. A meal that is healthy and dense in nutrients can keep you feeling full and satisfied for hours. I can eat meals that although are low in calories, keep me energized and not craving food for much longer than junk. When I eat junk-food, I just want to eat MORE even if I am full. Something as simple as a spinach salad with 6 oz. skinless chicken, mixed veggies, fat free feta drumbles, avocado, light dressing/rice vinegar/balsamis vinegar, sliced almonds etc...is low in calories but high in fiber, protein, healthy fats, vitamins etc...

Eating healthy definitely becomes easier the longer you do it, so hang in there! Eat clean & healthy for a few weeks and you eventually won't want or crave unhealthy food. It turns into a habit eventually and you'll feel fantastic. Keep up the good work! Your body deserves it and so do you ;-)
