My booklet on disordered eating says that I should be free of counting calories, pounds, etc. But if I do that I will never reduce? Will someone please fill me in?
with people who have eating disorders, one of the things that's strongly suggested is to not count calories at the outset - because it leads to the obsessive (wrong word but it's th word that popped into my head) that got them the disorder to begin with...
I see the logic maleficent is explaining however it will be tough to know what is or isn't working for you if you are not tracking your calories.
