I asked my mom to pick me up some vitamins at the store and she brought home the One a day wieght managment pills. They directly say "not a weighloss pill" The bottle says its helps support you metabelism and it has some cafeen in it for energy. Plus all the vitamins and minerals and all that good stuff. I took one last night before I went to the gym and I did find a little more energy and good feelings. any thoughts on these.

I'm not a fan of most multivitamins. Especially, those one a days. Main problem, the vitamins and minerals found in those supplements are synthetic man made "chemicals". They are not the same as whats found in an actual food. Also, many "multivitamins" today have fillers and other crap items we don't need that should NOT be in there.
Unless you're deficient in any one of those micro nutrients. You won't become any "healthier". So, why bother?

One important thing to remember - NO vitamin or mineral will give you energy or make you feel more "energized". Unless, you were specifically deficient in a vitamin or mineral (Mainly from the B family).

More than likely what you felt was a psychological affect. The amount of Green tea and guarna in the supplement I doubt is near enough to cause any affect beyond a negligible one.
If you want green tea and guarna. Drink green tea and a straight guarna supplement.

I've been taking a mulit for awhile and really do like it. I've tried those one a days, but for me the caffiene made me a little jittery.

One trick I have learned is to see if your body can actually breakdown the vitamin. Try leaving it in a glass of water for 30 mins, or a glass of vinegar, more similar to the stomach environment with all the digestive enzymes in there. If the supplement doesn't breakdown in the vinegar, its not going to breakdown in your stomach & if it doesn't breakdown, you can't absorb it & you basically are just giving yourself expensive pee.

I learned this from a vitamin rep who sells food based supplements. Seems to work for me. There is a rumor that a certain popular vitamin shows up in the sewer systems a lot... to where you can read the name printed on the pill. Total waste of money. ...or someone dumped a bottle down the toilet, but it makes me wonder. I'm too broke to pay for stuff I can't use.
